Early Childhood Center

The mission of UCR ECS is to enable parents to reach their educational and professional goals and to support children to reach their full potential in all developmental areas. ECS supports the university’s teaching, research, and community service goals by providing the children of students, staff, faculty, and community members with a healthy, safe and inclusive learning environment. Children are nurtured, encouraged, and supported by our staff to enable them to reach the next level in their social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.

The UCR ECS welcomes applications from UCR staff, faculty, and students as well as the local community. Priority is given to families who already have a child in ECS and then to UCR affiliated parents. (We apologize, but this does not include UCR Alumni who are not current students, faculty, or staff.) For UCR students the application fee is waived and they may apply online.
